As I am learning, growing, and really intentional about my Norwex business I am finding some resources that make a difference for me. I have been using these resources & tools for a while and started sharing with my team, and other direct sales friends. Since they have found the resources useful too, I thought I would start sharing them with you too.
I fully believe in helping and supporting others in their businesses so we can all succeed, and raise each other.
I randomly found these daily task sheets, and really love them. They give me a check list that I can do each day, and have focus tasks to do. They break down big tasks into simple ones, and also show you where you should be focusing. I love that they remind me to connect with people on facebook, and wish them a happy birthday too!
Things like: check your calendar, send a catalogue, touch base with a customer you haven’t heard from in a while reminds us that this business isn’t about sales or just getting the next person on your team. It’s about building relationships, strengthening the ones you have, and not being THAT person who sends their business link out of the blue to a girl you once knew in public school.
Ok so this isn’t the one I use but it’s the closest I could find. I think it’s an updated version. The one I have, I printed off the first day I signed up and I have NO idea where I got it from. I stuck it on my bulletin board and didn’t look at it again for 2 years. So…. yeah….
But I really like that mine says to do 15 IPAs a week to become a director or above. Well that’s what I want. I want to climb our ladder and get to the top, so I am checking off as many as I can in a week. Since I am all about checklists this really works well for me.
As I have been focusing on this and the other checklists I am seeing my business starting to really gain momentum. It is helping me be more intentional about my business and giving me tasks that actually produce results.
I recently found Trello and started using it. It’s really good for daily checklists, and organizing my life as well as my businesses. I can add team members, train team members, but my hostess coaching in there (and duplicate them for each new hostesses). Then I can have boards for my blogs, life stuff, and just a vision board. Anything I want.
I really like this website, and it even comes in app form so I can take it with me wherever I go!
I had been asking my hubby for a laminator for a long time. Last year for Christmas I got one and I was so happy! I use this for my business all the time! The checklists I mentioned above, I have laminated so I just check off all week, then I use my enviro cloth 😉 to wipe it off and start fresh the next week.
I have used it for any business materials from head office that I will be using for a long period of time. I even laminated a whole catalogue for vendor shows, and to use at parties. Ours go from the beginning of the year until October so I can use this particular one for a long time.
Between top leaders in Norwex, and other direct sales ladies (I love the customer packet in this video) I use youtube a lot. I use it for research for me, and also to show my customers before and afters as well as company info! Seriously I share this chicken test regularly.
There is tons of information out there, and Pinterest is a great place to search for it. You can get game ideas, marketing ideas, motivational posts, etc. Anything and everything you need for your direct sales business!
